What is Venous Insufficiency?

Venous Insufficiency

The valves in your veins, in a healthy vein, come close to touching. They are efficient at pumping blood back to your heart. As we strain our veins, through excessive pressure, weight, standing, or even crossing our legs, the valves begin to spread apart. This creates backflow. The backflow can then cause pain, swelling, cramping, or tingling.

The fix

Venous Insufficiency can be fixed with short, outpatient procedures that seal the vein and recirculate the blood flow to more efficient veins.
